1 Where We Ship From
To keep styles available worldwide and ship to you as fast as possible, Aurora Lolita operates four fulfilment warehouses across three countries and one special administrative region. Each order is routed from the warehouse that holds your item in stock — so the ship-from country is not always the same as your destination, and that's by design: it gets your parcel to you sooner.

2 Always Air Express Every Order
We use premium air-express couriers only — never sea freight, never low-priority economy air. If a destination can be reached by an international air-express service, that is how we send it: typically DHL Express, FedEx International Priority, UPS Worldwide Expedited, SF International, EMS, or Japan Post EMS, whichever is fastest from the fulfilling warehouse on the day of dispatch.
- Door-to-door air delivery with full end-to-end tracking.
- No surface or sea-freight on any part of the route.
- Customs-pre-cleared when the carrier supports it, so the parcel flies straight through.
This lets us keep international delivery windows short even when your item is fulfilled from a warehouse on a different continent.
3 Delivery Times by Region
Times below are business days after dispatch, measured from the day your parcel is handed to the courier (in-stock items dispatch within 24–48 h). Customs and final-mile carriers can add a day or two in some cities.

4 Shipping Costs & Free Threshold
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and dimensions. To keep things fair, we charge only the carrier-rate cost — no inflated handling fees.
- Free international air express on orders over US $99 for East Asia and Southeast Asia (Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and nearby serviced destinations). All other regions receive free international air express on orders over US $150. Thresholds are based on subtotal after discounts and before taxes, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout.
- Below the threshold, live air-express rates are shown in your cart before you pay — no hidden surcharges.
- Oversize items (full coord sets, multi-layer petticoats, large parasols) may show a dimensional-weight surcharge; it is always disclosed before payment.
- We do not offer slower economy or surface shipping, because the price-per-day advantage is not worth the delay.
5 Customs, Duties & Taxes
Import duties, VAT/GST, and any customs handling fees charged by your country are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product or shipping price. We declare every parcel accurately and never mark shipments as "gift" or undervalue them — please do not request this, as we cannot comply.
- European Union: we collect VAT at checkout via IOSS for eligible orders ≤ €150; above this threshold, VAT + duty is collected by the carrier on delivery.
- United Kingdom: VAT is charged at checkout for orders ≤ £135 per our UK VAT registration; above this, the carrier invoices you on delivery.
- United States: shipments below the US $800 de minimis generally enter duty-free.
- All other countries: please check with your local customs authority before ordering; high-value or multi-item orders may incur local charges.
6 Order Tracking
Every order gets a tracking number emailed to you the moment the courier scans your parcel in. You can also:

7 Undeliverable Parcels
A parcel is considered undeliverable when:
- The shipping address is incomplete, invalid, or the recipient cannot be located.
- Multiple delivery attempts fail and the parcel is not picked up from the courier's local pickup point within the holding window (usually 5–10 days).
- The recipient refuses delivery or refuses to pay applicable customs charges.
In those cases the parcel is returned to our warehouse. We will refund the item cost minus the round-trip shipping and any carrier return fees. Re-shipping is available at the original customer-paid rate.
8 Delays & Force Majeure
Once a parcel is in the hands of the courier, delivery time depends on factors we cannot fully control — customs inspection, weather, local strikes, or extraordinary events. When carriers report systemic delays (for example, during Chinese New Year, Japanese Golden Week, or major weather events) we publish a banner on the homepage and post updates on Instagram.
Aurora Lolita is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, but we will always help you open a carrier investigation and, where the parcel is genuinely lost, we will re-ship or fully refund in accordance with our Returns Policy.
9 Pre-Order & Made-to-Measure
Pre-Order dresses and made-to-measure pieces are produced after your order is placed. The product page shows the expected production lead time (usually 30–60 days); air-express transit times above are added on top. For multi-item orders mixing in-stock and pre-order pieces, we ship everything together once the pre-order part is ready — unless you request a split dispatch (which carries a second shipping fee).
